Privacy Policy

Last updated September 17, 2026

Glassport consists of an iPhone app and a Mac helper app. We do not collect, store or sell personal data. We have no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.

Your screen and input

The Mac helper captures your Mac's screen and sends it only to iPhones you have paired with that Mac. Taps, keystrokes and text travel only from your iPhone to your Mac. This traffic goes directly between your devices over your network and is encrypted. It never passes through our servers.

Pairing

When you pair an iPhone, both devices keep a shared key so they can recognise each other. On the iPhone the key is stored in the Keychain and is not included in backups. On the Mac it is stored in a file only your user account can read.

Dictation

If you use dictation, your voice is converted to text by Apple's speech recognition, which may process audio on Apple's servers under Apple's Privacy Policy. The resulting text is sent only to your Mac.

Updates

About once a day the Mac helper checks freeleo.dev for a newer version. This request includes the helper's version and your IP address, as any web request does. It contains nothing about your screen or activity.
